The high negative ion concentration produced by the XJ-800 effectively removes just about any type of airborne pollutant (list of pollutants removed). This includes allergens, chemicals, odors, bacteria, viruses, and other types of compounds.                                                      

High-Density Negative Ion Output.

The XJ-800 uses 3 stainless steel needle points to generate a high concentration of negative ions. The needlepoint ionization method produces a higher level of negative ions than any other method.

Long Lasting, Durable.

Since the needle points are made from stainless steel, they will not corrode like other needle points, which are typically made from less durable materials. Most needle points will erode, and will produce only low ion levels after the first few months or so of operation. Cleaning and Maintenance

Unplug the XJ-800 before performing any maintenance.
Unscrew & perform cleaning. Turn the XJ-800 upside down and place it on a towel. Loosen the screws and carefully clean the dust with soft dry cloth or Q-tip.
Clean cover. Wipe the XJ-800 with cloth.
Clean once a month. Perform maintenance when needed or at least once a month to keep your XJ-800 operating at peak performance.

Precautionary Statements

Unplug air purifier if not used for a while. In case you park your car for long period, unplug the purifier to prevent damage to the car purifier due to the unexpected rise in battery voltage.
Keep the XJ-800 away from any water sources and children. Keep the XJ-800 out of the rain and away from any source of water. Do not place the unit near any water tubs, pools, sinks or within the reach of small children. Do not dismantle the XJ-800 to avoid damage to internal parts.
Don't breath within 18 inches of the front grill continuously for several hours.
If you want to sleep or sit for prolonged periods of time breathing the air, make sure that the XJ-800 is placed at least 20 inches away from your face.
Humidity causes static sound. Static electricity sounds produced during operation due to high humidity levels is not a malfunction.
For individuals with a history of respiratory disease the XJ-800 complies with U.S. safety standards for low ozone emission (less than 0.04 ppm). We recommend that individuals with a history of respiratory disease consult with their doctor about possible sensitivity to very low ozone.
